Acceptable use policy

Draft. This policy hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet.

This policy is part of the terms of service. If a business breaks it, we may suspend or close its account. Where we can, we'll warn the business first.

Content

You must not use It's Your Bill to sell or give access to:

  • content you don't have the right to share, including films, shows, music or sports you haven't licensed for this use;
  • illegal content of any kind, including anything that sexually exploits children (reported to the authorities straight away);
  • content that promotes violence, terrorism or hatred against people.

Your store and customers

You must not:

  • mislead customers about what they're buying, its price, or how to cancel;
  • use someone else's name, brand or logo as if it were yours;
  • send spam, or email people who haven't subscribed or who have unsubscribed;
  • charge customers for something you don't provide.

The service itself

You must not:

  • try to get into another business's data, our systems, or accounts that aren't yours;
  • test, scan or overload the service without our written permission;
  • get around plan limits, or resell It's Your Bill itself without an agreement with us;
  • use It's Your Bill for anything illegal where you or your customers are.
